Another busy month ahead here at Gasworks Arts Park, with Chair of the Gasworks Board James McCaughey directing Ostrovsky`sThe Scoundrel That You Need. Taking the timeless plot device of an older woman spurned for a younger girl, the play bounces from satire to farce as the spurned woman seeks her revenge. Previews from Friday 2 May.
The galleries are a whirlwind of colour with four shows moving in and out of the spaces over the course of the month. Top it all off with another wonderful Farmers' Market where you can buy fresh produce for some great winter warmers, and you've got something for everyone!

The Scoundrel That You Need
Tsarist Moscow comes to life in this viciously funny social satire
of sex, ambition and revenge.
Next Market: Saturday 17 May, 8.30am to 1pm Farewell summer stone fruits, berries and tomatoes and welcome in the parade of autumn fruits and veggies that are ideal for baking, stewing and roasting.
Warm up on a cold autumn day with some delicious, stewed rhubarb over hot porridge, sweetened with Dawson's organe blossom honey - a family favourite! Nibble on some fresh pistachio nuts, straight from the tree and tackle some figs with prosciutto and fetta as an entree to a hot roasted dinner.
